I wish I did! I might have to break out the origami books, and remind myself how to fold more interesting things than cranes, bunnies, and lilies.

i finally did lots of crochet when i quit - which was better than stuffing pounds of granola into my face! i never thought about origami though - great idea! (-: water-sipping also helps.

I keep thinking "surely it wasn't THIS bad last time I stopped smoking?" and "surely I'd remember that I wanted to crawl out of my own skin?" and "argh, why can't I sit STILL?" then I remember that the last couple of times I stopped smoking, there was general anaesthesia involved, and the chemical withdrawal part of the process was swamped by other stuff.

I'll be OK (as long as I don't get so annoying someone pushes me off a cliff.) The bendy-straw-rock-sucking image is awesome enough to distract me for at least ten minutes.

Pacing up and down the office, clutching files and looking harried worked for a bit! As did shredding paper. It's the fidgets that are driving me nuts, but it will pass.

(i wonder if I could sit and sew stuff while catching up on reading papers...hmm...)

excellent - keep it up for about a month and you'll be grand, you're already a non-smoker (not a "quitter" and you didn't give anything up) so you don't need a ciggy, because non smokers do not smoke.
