tiny amusements
When your second-least-favourite person in Edinburgh collars you on the bus, and sits next to you, ignores your book, and launches into a conversation...try getting a howling cliché into every single statement you make, just to see if they will notice before you get the giggles.

It's a nice evening. I got off the bus a few stops early and walked. I just couldn't take it any more.

I swear I think you and Debbie were separated at birth. I'm going to see it tonight so would be fab if you're there! Details are:

19:30
TePOOKa ('The Big Red Door')
10 Lady Lawson Street
And they suggest a donation of £5.

BTW, might be worth reserving tickets (07527749790) as I understand first night went brilliantly and they may be expecting a crowd tonight.

Yeah, the first night was almost full, and I thought it was about 90% excellent (though I haven't read the book, and can't judge against that)... so it would indeed probably be wise to reserve tickets - although our efforts to reserve them last night seem to have come to nowt, only got through to answerphone and the message didn't seem to get through.
